Peter Shrier | CEO & Founder

As Founder and CEO, Pete leads Rethinc in strategy, growth, operational oversight and company vision. He cares deeply about the upbeat company culture and providing a safe, productive and gratifying place to work. With nearly two decades clocked in the real estate industry, Pete leverages his experience in advising clients, small to large, in structuring various transactions: commercial leases, acquisitions, dispositions, developments, joint-ventures, restructures and more. As an investor himself, Pete spearheads Rethinc’s development arm and their purposeful portfolio growth. He is actively involved in all facets from entitlements, design, capitalization and construction.

Prior to founding Rethinc Real Estate, Pete spent thirteen years at SSH Real Estate, a large independent firm, where he focused on building a brokerage business and leasing strategy for company assets. As a general partner, Pete personally began purchasing and developing real estate circa 2006 putting together a portfolio of multi-family and mixed-use assets, many of which are still held today and managed under the Rethinc platform.

Pete is an active supporter and board member of the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), where he gets his fix in helping abandoned and unwanted animals find a loving home.  Learn more about PAWS here, and how you can help save a life.  They pay you back tenfold.

Ian H. Hutchison | COO

Ian has chosen a path of harnessing his creativity through real estate. As Chief Operating Officer and an early adopter of the Rethinc ethos, Ian is responsible for implementing the firm’s vision and has been instrumental in crafting and delivering Rethinc’s value proposition to partners and supporters within the Rethinc network. Ian actively assists clients with commercial leasing, acquisitions and dispositions of investment property and values these partnerships above and beyond the transactional nature – Ian’s clients have come to appreciate his unique dedication and authenticity. Ian is deeply invested in the continued growth of Rethinc’s social impact strategy and utilizing the firm’s platform to deliver results to his Brokerage and Investment partners while supporting the communities he serves.

With a past life at Savills, a London-based full service real estate firm, and cross border operational experience in Asia, Ian brings a well-rounded background and unique combo of skills to Rethinc. 

Libby Cefaly | Operative

Libby has joined the Rethinc family and the brokerage team to better assist existing clients, as well as source new business and spread awareness of the Rethinc brand. She began her real estate career at MSC Retail, where she was involved in both tenant and landlord representation, mainly in Philadelphia and surrounding neighborhoods. Whether a small local shop, or a national chain, there is no greater joy for this operative than helping a new tenant find a home and adding a great asset to our city.

Born in the Poconos but a city girl at heart, Libby set her mind on moving to Philadelphia upon graduating from the University of Delaware. Luckily for us, she instantly fell in love with the city of Brotherly Love. When she’s not out stirring up the city, she enjoys catching up on the latest consumer trends and networking in the Philadelphia community. 

Blessing Santoro | Company Creative

Blessing is the in-house artist; she brings the company’s creative visions into digital fruition. As a creative, she lives to venture into new projects and develop new ideas. Utilizing her background in international business and finance, Blessing leads creative direction and content development—in addition to her role in management and operations. From aesthetics to accounting, Blessing wears many hats and is profoundly resourceful—a key ingredient that pushes Rethinc to the next level.

After several years in Miami embracing the culture and graduating from Florida International University, Blessing is back in her hometown of Philadelphia. Her enthusiasm for real estate is founded in her experiences growing up here and witnessing the development over the years. Her passion and commitment to the vision for Rethinc and Philadelphia are why she is a trusted creative.
